Announcing: A Musical Adventure for New Ticket Buyers Only 

SanfilippoThe Sanfilippo Foundation has generously donated to the Woodstock Mozart Festival a tour of its magnificent Place de la Musique museum of restored antique music machines in Barrington Hills. We, in turn, are offering this 3-hour tour to the first 60 people to order tickets to a Mozart Festival concert, beginning June 1.

The tour includes a mini concert on the 8,000 pipe Wurtlitzer Theatre Pipe Organ, and a visit to the Carousel Pavilion. If you have never seen this museum displayed within a breathtaking French Second Empire setting, NOW is the time.  

This offer is for those who have not yet purchased tickets to the Festival. When you order your tickets from the Woodstock Opera House Box Office at (815)338-5300, mention that you would like to register for the Place de la Musique tour.

Our New Resident String Trio

String TrioPictured here are members of our new resident string trio.  Featured are concert master Kevin Case, violin; Elizabeth Hagen, viola; and Nazar Dzhuryn, cello. The group played a beautiful program of Schubert, Fauré, Sibelius and Beethoven on May 13th for Del Webb Sun City residents. You can hear this dynamic new ensemble from our orchestra when they appear on Tuesday, June 25th and Saturday, June 29th.

Oktoberfest 2014... September 13-14. Save the Dates!

OktoberfestWoodstock's Rotary joins the Festival again in staging the second annual Oktoberfest event at Woodstock's Emricson Park on  Friday evening, September 13th, and on Saturday September, 14th, 11:00 - 11:00.  German and American food, music, family fun with children's activities will be featured on Saturday during the day.  Die Musikmeisters German Band will perform both evenings while you enjoy craft beers, dinner, polka dance lessons by dance teacher Rosie Lenth (pictured).  Mozart will serve as Master of Ceremonies.
